Have you ever had to shoot for an assignment which requires equipment for a low light situation but you don't have the right stuff? My suggestion is Aperturent*. This company allows you to do whatever you need to get the job/assignment done and done right. For example, I will be shooting a night game tomorrow but I already know my gear is not sufficient. I also know I don't have the bucks to buy what's necessary. Aperturent makes it possible to shoot this assignment well with the needed equipment. Comparison prices for the skeptics: Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II AF-S on the street price example: $2039-$2285 @ NexTag (and that's there "cheap" price, Aperturent rental price: minimum $70/3 days. Now I know that can get to be expensive if you're doing this all the time. However, at that price you can get the jobs that will eventually afford you to buy your equipment. I don't know folks you do the math!
*Not an advertisement for this company. I just wanted to share a way for my classmates & others to not have to turn down a job because they don't have the equipment yet.
That lens looked amazing last night. People kept staring at you just because of that lens!
